I started to feel stuck in my current sales role. The margins were low, the market was shrinking, and I knew I needed to pivot. A few friends of mine were in tech sales, and after seeing how fast they were growing—especially income-wise—I started seriously looking into it. I came across Higher Levels on YouTube, saw how structured and well-thought-out the program was, and I just knew this was the vehicle that could take me further. I didn’t even look at any other programs—I was all in.

What was the most valuable part of the program to you?

The outreach and interview process they teach completely changed the game for me. I followed everything in the program exactly—how to identify decision-makers, how to reach out, how to cold call hiring managers, and how to run discovery calls. I ended up applying to only 8 companies and landed first-round interviews at every single one. When I got into the HubSpot process, I went through cold call roleplays, discovery call simulations, the whole nine yards. And because I had prepped with people already in the role and used everything I learned in the course, I was able to stand out big time. The program didn’t just help me get interviews—it helped me win them.

Follow the process. Seriously. You're going to get rejected, you're going to get nervous on cold calls, and you're going to want to overthink it—but just keep going. I treated everything like a rep, tightened up along the way, and improved after every awkward interaction. Most people don’t even cold call the hiring manager. I did—and at Paycom, the hiring manager told me I was the only one out of 400 applicants who did. That alone set me apart. If you’re willing to get a little uncomfortable, this program will put you in a position to succeed. No question.
