Higher Levels helped me turn a messy, non linear background into a clean AE story I could sell in interviews, and it gave me the confidence and structure to land a fully remote Account Executive role paying $170k+. I stopped guessing, started executing daily, and it finally clicked.

I had a lot of career experience, but it was spread across different roles and chapters, from a family fitness business to B2B ad sales to a long stretch in a remote rev ops and IT operations role. I missed the sales side, I wanted to make more money, and I wanted to be in a role where I could combine my technical strengths with selling. The problem was I had not been on the job market in over 10 years, and I did not want to take an SDR pay cut or give up remote flexibility for my family. I knew I needed a structured path to position myself for an AE role and avoid blind spots, so I invested in the training and committed to going straight for Account Executive.

What was the most valuable part of the program to you?

The biggest value was having a repeatable strategy and turning it into daily execution. The resume and LinkedIn work helped me land more first round interviews, and the interview preparation changed everything. The AI interview simulator let me practice real conversations, get feedback in real time, and sharpen my answers without relying on notes. That helped my interview skills ramp up fast. I also learned how to stand out in outreach by leading with why a company matters to me, then templating that message across multiple people at the same company. On top of that, I got clear on how to navigate the market as a career changer by targeting roles with fewer applicants, which gave me a better shot to get in front of hiring teams willing to take a chance.

Be persistent and make your job search a second job. This did not happen overnight for me. It took months of consistent daily effort because I was picky about staying remote and not taking a pay cut. Do not just consume content and tell yourself you are going to do it. Take action steps every day. Apply, reach out, and keep moving the process forward. If you focus on effort as the goal and keep your cup empty so you can learn, the results will come. That approach is what got me into a fully remote $170k+ Account Executive role.
