Doing it alone was slow and confusing. I wanted mentors and a real community, not just random tips. The Higher Levels team felt authentic from day one. Get a mentor, plug into the community, and do not be afraid to fail. Treat big companies like people, not pedestals. Reach out to employees beyond the hiring manager and build real connections. Before interviews, study the product and customer success stories so you can speak with confidence. Have your personal story ready and show your transferable skills. Use notes during virtual interviews to stay on track. Be persistent, learn from each rep, and keep going. Dezmond broke into Okta within about three months of starting Tech Sales Ascension. If you want to break into tech sales with no degree, this program gives you the coaching, network, and tools to make it happen.
