I had been in HVAC sales for eight years and wanted a career with more income potential and flexibility for my family. My wife is in medical school, and with a newborn at home, I needed something fully remote. I looked into a few programs, including one that was “done for you,” but what made Tech Sales Ascension stand out was the direct access to real coaches. I wanted to learn how to do the work, not have someone do it for me. From day one, I could tell the program was built by people who actually work in sales, not just talk about it.
What was the most valuable part of the program to you?
The coaching and community. I worked directly with Eric, Ryan, and Connor, and they gave me fast feedback on my resume, outreach messages, and interview prep. The program taught me how to prospect, use LinkedIn, write emails, and find contacts with Apollo, all skills I am now using every day as an SDR. I learned how to research companies with ChatGPT, build a simple 90-day plan, and personalize every interview. Those small touches are what helped me stand out. Put in the work. Tech Sales Ascension gives you the exact roadmap, but you have to execute. I was on paternity leave and only had a few hours each night to study and do outreach, but I stayed consistent and made it happen in under a month. Reach out to 50 people a week, not 10. Study the product, read customer stories, and practice your “why tech, why sales, why you” story until it is second nature. If you follow the playbook and stay persistent, you will break in faster than you think.
