Higher Levels was the first program I found where the ROI actually made sense. The strategy is tried and tested, and once I applied it and put in the work, breaking into tech sales stopped feeling like a mystery and started feeling like a process.

I came to the U.S. for my master’s in computer engineering, but I realized pretty quickly that coding was not for me. I worked as a QA engineer for about 10 months, and on the side I was doing corporate catering where I got more exposure to a sales cycle, onboarding clients, and managing events. I wanted to get back into tech, just not in an engineering role, and tech sales felt like the best path. When I looked at other programs, a lot of them were overpriced and overpromised. Higher Levels felt different because it was a fixed price, the value was clear, and you get real support from the team plus a big community.
What was the most valuable part of the program to you?
Two things: the strategy and the support system around it. The core approach is simple but it works, and you can customize it to your situation. The community aspect was huge too, because you can form small groups and help each other with interviews. The program also helped me understand what it really takes to stand out now. Your LinkedIn and resume have to be on point, you need a multi-threaded approach reaching out to SDR managers and SDRs, and you cannot rely only on emails or Loom videos anymore. Cold calling SDR managers is one of the biggest differentiators, and those same skills translate directly into the job once you are hired.

Treat the job search like a part-time job and commit to doing the work. Practice matters more than theory, especially for cold calling. Also, if you have a technical background, use it as an advantage. Apply to companies with more technical products or technical SDR roles where your engineering knowledge helps you connect with engineering leaders and technical buyers. The strategy works, but only if you execute and stay consistent.
