I dropped out of college while studying computer science, and everyone around me doubted the decision. I knew I wanted sales, but I didn’t know how to get into tech sales specifically. When I found Higher Levels, it stood out because it wasn’t theory. It was real people who had actually broken in, sharing exactly what worked. That gave me the trust and confidence to invest.
What was the most valuable part of the program to you?
The biggest unlock was learning how to stand out in interviews. I stopped relying on the ATS and started building value documents like 90-day plans, market research, and sales strategies. I sent them directly to hiring managers along with personalized videos. That is what got me interviews, even after rejections. The cold call recordings also helped me shift from pitching to a consultative approach, which was completely different from the door-to-door sales I had done before.

Be consistent and ignore the ATS. Most people get discouraged when they see an auto-rejection, but I learned that going directly to the manager with a value add gets results. I only applied to about five roles a day, but I poured everything into each application, which gave me a much higher conversion rate. If you are serious about breaking in, follow the program exactly, trust yourself, and keep going.
