After years of varied work experience—from Yelp sales to managing support teams to selling RVs—I knew I wanted to get back into tech sales, but the industry had evolved since my last stint. Watching deals fall through in my current role lit a fire under me. I stumbled across Higher Levels on YouTube and found myself nodding along to every lesson. I kept seeing your videos and everything you were saying made sense. If I was going to invest in training, it was going to be with people who actually knew what they were talking about.

What was the most valuable part of the program to you?

Definitely the structure and accountability of the program—especially the interview workbook and cold call simulator. Every day I was adding something to my workbook—new jobs, hiring manager info, updated messaging. I worked two jobs while doing this, but I stayed locked in. When it came time for the cold calling exercise at Deel, I was nervous—but prepared. Me and that AI cold call simulator were fighting daily. It gave me confidence. I knew I couldn’t sound scared.

Be uncomfortable. You can either wait and hope something lands in your lap, or you can say ‘screw it’ and take a shot. Worst case, someone says no. But you’re one step closer than yesterday. I encourage others not to just watch the videos, but to put in the reps. Until you’ve rewritten your resume 24 times, sent messages, made cold calls, and gotten rejected—you haven’t earned the right to complain. Just get to work and follow the program.
