After 10+ years in project management and a stint as Chief of Staff to a CTO, I knew I wanted something different but could not quite figure out what. I had been thinking about sales for a couple of years, but I had this image in my head of the loud, extroverted salesperson and figured it was not for me. When I came across Eric on TikTok, something clicked. I had a background in tech, so tech sales felt like a natural fit. I had actually started SV Academy first, but the rigid structure meant I could not jump ahead to the content I needed most, like the interview module. When I found Tech Sales Ascension, the flexibility to go deep on what mattered most was exactly what I was looking for.

What was the most valuable part of the program to you?

Three things stood out: the deep background on the SDR role, the live coaching calls, and the practice tools. Cold calling was my biggest fear going in. I genuinely did not think I would be good on the phone and was worried it would trip me up in interviews. But I put serious time into the cold calling simulator, and I truly believe that practice is what helped me land my offer. The interview simulator was just as valuable. By the time I was sitting in real interviews, I had already worked out the kinks. That combination of structured content, live coaching, and hands-on practice tools is what set this program apart.

This is for the career changers who have put 10 or 15 years into something else and feel like switching careers means throwing it all away. That feeling is real, but so is the itch. If you are watching this, you know exactly what I mean. The world of work is shifting faster than ever, and sales is one of the most future-proof skill sets you can build. Refine your story. Make your career transition make sense both on paper and out loud. Talk about wanting performance-based income and what you could not find in your old career. Practice it until it flows naturally. And find a community. My entire network was in project management and consulting. I had no sales contacts. The Higher Levels community showed me every single day that landing a role was possible. Seeing someone post that they got an offer was a constant reminder that I could do it too. Get the coaching, find the community, and trust the process.
